How to protect an apache server?

I am using my computer as a server using apache php mysql and phpadmin I am also using dyndns so I can use my own domain and host my website from home, the website is working fine but I want to know how to protect my servers from all sorts of attacks like ddos and other attacks. I am currently using McAfee 2011 but I don't know if that is enough. Thanks a lot.

yea a shirt and shorts is fine. lots of ppl do that. Just don't be one of those people that wear their shirts into the pool because that would look weird and you will just be showing off your insecurities to everyone. Anyways, most people understand that not everyone has a great body and they won't judge you for your weight. Well I have come across a guy or two like this. Please don't get depressed or it could turn into a major health problem. This seems as if you love her and she loves you back. The thing in the situation is that the more she loves you the more she pushes away. This to me is normal for any woman it seems. Just love her let her know you'd do anything you can for her and that your not going anywhere. Stay with her if you love her. True love is an amazing feeling. Nothing like it.
