Was he bothered by me?

So the mall I work at has a designated parking lot for everyone who works there and NOBODY who doesn't work there can park there. We take a shuttle from the parking lot to the entrance of the mall (10 minute drive) and then catch the shuttle from the mall entrance back to the parking lot after our shifts are over. Today I was on the shuttle and decided to sit behind a cute guy. I mustered up the courage to engage in random chit chat w/ him. He was smiling and answering my questions but never asked my name (but I didn't ask for his either). I don't know... he didn't seem that interested, maybe he has a gf? When we got back to the parking lot he got off at the 1st stop and said goodbye to me, but nothing else. He didn't ask for my name or number at that point. Was he just being nice to me on the shuttle?
