How to bug-proof house (or at least bedroom)?

Boric acid powder is what you need. Put a thin line of boric acid (you buy it at the pharmacy) all around the edges of your room, and particularly focus on the bathroom and kitchen, and around water pipes where they may be traveling from place to place. (put it around pipe openings in the floor...) Leave it in place for at least six weeks, more if the problem is continual, or if you are going to vacuum it up, replace it. Pull your bed away from the wall, and put a roach motel near each leg of your bed.
